Property research without visitor accounts or tracking.

What the site loads
Plume does not require a visitor account or set an analytics identifier. Your browser may contact Google Fonts; that provider receives ordinary request metadata such as your IP address.
In the report preview, address suggestions send your query to Photon (photon.komoot.io), an OpenStreetMap-based geocoder, as you type. APN searches send the parcel number and selected county to California DWR's public LightBox parcel service. In the Django app these lookups pass through Plume's server and results are cached briefly. The public homepage uses a static atlas illustration and does not perform address lookups.
When enabled, the report preview stores your confirmed location and email address with the generated report. The PDF and email message are captured locally. No payment is taken and no email is sent.
